it’s not about being busy it’s about where we choose to spend our time and who truly matters.

We live in a time where everyone seems to be “busy.” Busy working, busy achieving, busy planning. But is that true? Are we all so busy, or are we simply distracted?

This is something I’ve been reflecting on lately, and I’d like to share my thoughts with you.

The truth is, being busy has become a badge of honor. It’s almost as if not constantly doing something means you’re not productive or valuable. But let’s pause for a moment and ask ourselves: What are we busy with? Is it work that can’t wait? Goals that genuinely demand our attention right this second? Or are we distracted by the noise of endless scrolling, mindless commitments, or avoiding deeper priorities?

I’ve come to realize that our sense of being “busy” often reflects our distracted minds. We’re not prioritizing what’s truly important; we’re letting everything else get in the way. And this distraction? It’s costing us something much more valuable than time it’s costing us connection.

When someone genuinely cares for you, their questions and thoughts aren’t just casual.
