Is Your Inbox Trying to Kill You, or Are You Just Laughing Through the Corporate Chaos?
Ever wondered if corporate life is just a series of meetings about meetings? Spoiler alert: It totally is, but at least we can laugh at it!
Monday evening — again. You know, the time of day when you start questioning all your life choices that led you to this exact moment of sitting in an office, staring at a screen with the energy of a drained battery. I get to my desk, open my inbox, and boom. there it is:
“URGENT: Please review the document for the meeting we already had about the meeting we were supposed to have next week.”
And I’m just sitting there, thinking, This is my life now? I mean, are we really scheduling meetings to discuss meetings? If this is what I signed up for, I should get a medal or at least a decent coffee machine that serves cocktails at this point.
Anyway, I slog through my day emails, meetings, and the never-ending “What are you having for lunch?” debates. Every day, it’s the same conversation. We all circle around the salad bar like a bunch of office zombies trying to decide if today’s lettuce will be the one to inspire us to make better life decisions. We’re making life-altering choices with a side of vinaigrette.
