Rajasthan: Palaces, Lakes, and a Whole Lot of Wow!
Magic of Jaipur and Udaipur!
The Pink City: Jaipur
Peace at Jal Mahal
The Jal Mahal, sitting quietly in the middle of Man Sagar Lake, felt magical. The reflection of the golden palace in the calm water made it look like it was floating. Walking along the lakeside was peaceful, with birds chirping in the background. “This is beauty at its simplest,” I thought while admiring the view.
The Stunning Hawa Mahal
The Hawa Mahal, or the “Palace of Winds,” is a must-see in Jaipur. Its red and pink façade is covered with tiny windows that look like a honeycomb. Standing there, I imagined the royal women peeking through these windows years ago. “This place feels like a window into the past,” I thought as I took it all in.
The Majestic Amber Fort
Visiting Amber Fort felt like stepping into a fairytale. Riding an elephant up the hill was an exciting start. Inside the fort, the Sheesh Mahal (Mirror Palace) sparkled like a starry night. The view of Maota Lake from the top was breathtaking. “How did they build something so grand back then?” I wondered while exploring the fort.
