Realizing that true strength is about being open and asking for help when you need it, instead of trying to handle everything on your own!!

I’ve always thought that strength was the most important thing. Growing up, I admired people who seemed so strong and unshaken by life’s challenges. They always seemed to have it all together, no matter what was happening around them. I thought that was the goal to be like them.

I told myself that to be strong meant never showing weakness. I needed to be the one who always had the answers, the one people could turn to for help. I became that person. I advised everyone else, always acting like I had everything under control. But behind the scenes, I was struggling too, hiding my true feelings and pretending I was fine when I wasn’t.

I thought that if I was strong enough to help others, I didn’t need to help myself. I believed that needing help meant I wasn’t strong, so I kept my struggles to myself. But over time, that became harder and harder to do. I was carrying too much on my own and didn’t even realize how tired I was getting. I wasn’t letting myself be human. I was ignoring my own needs while trying to take care of everyone else.

Then, one day, I couldn’t pretend anymore. The pressure of always being the strong one was too…
